MIB is growing -come and join the team! We are always seeking for dedicated, smart people who want to implement innovative ideas in the field of urban mobility and public transport. Currently we are looking for:
Consultant (m/f/d) – Berlin

The Mobility Institute Berlin (mib) was founded by Torben Greve, founder of MeinFernbus and co-founder of FlixMobility, Europe’s largest provider of long-distance bus travel, and four other shareholders in the summer of 2018.

By providing high quality consulting and analyses, we want to become a leading institution for sustainable mobility transition in urban areas. We consider the entirety of todays complex urban mobility systems. The needs of people and the establishment of an attractive and efficient public transport are our top priorities in this context.

Our approach is strongly data-driven. We think big and long-term. In collaboration with cities and public transport companies, we develop sustainable urban mobility visions, elaborate strategies on how to make them real, and support the implementation of related measures.

WHAT WE OFFER:

YOUR TASKS:

  • Work on client projects and development of in-house expertise.
  • Research on relevant mobility topics and conduct of quantitative analyses.
  • Identification of strategic measures, development of mobility concepts.
  • Preparation of presentations.
  • Organization and support of workshops with our clients.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Passion for sustainable mobility and urban transport.
  • University degree in a relevant field such as management/ economics, urban studies, regional planning, behavioural science.
  • First experiences in management consulting or in urban mobility/ public transport is advantageous.
  • Client interaction, excellent communication and strong team spirit are among your strongest qualities.
  • Independent and structured way of working, willingness to take on responsibility.
  • Drive to create a lasting impact for our clients.
  • Willingness to explore new subjects, to learn and to improve continuously.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Excellent German and English skills.

Project Manager Consulting (m/f/d) – Berlin

YOUR TASKS:

  • Project Management, incl. content planning and the establishment of/ responsibility for milestones and deadlines.
  • Team management, including transfer of skills and mentoring.
  • Client interaction and stakeholder management.
  • Support of project acquisition (e.g. preparation of proposals, relationship management with current and potential clients).
  • Support of content generation on projects and development of in-house expertise.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Passion for sustainable mobility and urban transport.
  • University degree in a relevant field such as management/ economics, urban studies, regional planning, behavioural science.
  • 3-5 years of experience in consulting or in urban mobility/ public transport project management.
  • Exceptional client interaction, and a convincing personality.
  • Quick thinking, efficient structuring of complex issues, and pragmatism.
  • Drive to create a lasting impact for our clients.
  • Willingness to explore new subjects, to learn and to improve continuously.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Excellent German and English skills.
